Advantages: Available in Pink

Disadvantages: Unreliable, feels cheap

My girlfriend bought this laptop around 18 months ago as it was the only laptop made by a decent brand which came in Pink!

Performance:
The laptop seems to cope well with most things thrown at it. Although my girlfriend is far from an avid gamer, she does enjoy things like "The Sims" and it seems to cope well with these. She has lots of music stored on the hard drive and it seems to cope well playing this and doesn't suffer any slow down or freezing. I am not the biggest fan of Windows Vista but the laptop runs fine with this on. Overall, I would say performance is good.

Build Quality and Reliability:
This is where this laptop falls down. Since owning it, the hard drive has failed once, and the battery now will not charge. This is a shame as my 4-year old HP laptop is still going strong. The plastic used on the laptop, aside from the soft touch coloured part covering the screen, feels VERY cheap and flimsy, although the keys do have a nice feel to them. The speaker cover is already coming apart from the main unit, and the plastic used around the edges is extremely flimsy and cheap looking.

Features:
The laptop has plenty of connectivity options, with I think 3 or 4 USB 2.0 ports. It also has an SD Card reader at the front, which is extremely handy for camera buffs like my girlfriend as it does away with the need for other expensive add-ons.

Conclusion:
If it was me, I would not have bought this laptop. Yes, its from a decent brand, but it just feels cheap, and I would probably spend my money elsewhere with either HP or Acer.

Summary: Not the best option
