Its attractive 250GB HD makes it a coliseum for music, DVD and game storage. The implementation of 3GB ram, means that loading times of programs such as internet, office and media player will open, before you blink! The 3GB ram certainly improves the functionality of Vista as many consumers seem to report one of the main concerns of vista. I couldn't agree more, after my last laptop, the Dell Inspiron makes Vista and programs such as games work hand in hand. Crashing and file corruption errors are non existent.

One reason for buying the Dell Inspiron was for its incredible battery life. I frequently travel and require it for word processing on the go. I must say, with 2 hours battery life, I can certainly get from A to B, having no problems. Movies and word processing are easy on this battery life.

The only concern I have with the Dell Inspiron is the keyboard layout. As with the other laptops, the keys I feel are too raised and separated making it easy to catch a nail and flip a key, oops! I have done that before and needed to replace the whole keyboard. Nevertheless, it's a smooth, easy to use keyboard with all the functions and DVD playback buttons needed.

All in all, a worthwhile and satisfying buy. Functionality wise, has allowed me to undertake a lot more tasks than my previous laptops. DVD's, word processing, surfing the net, has just become 10x's easier, ergonomic wise, its light weight, easy to fit into a bag and can be carried around the world, as your new friend. Buy it! you wont be dissapointed or have any regrets.
