I brought a Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop directly from the Dell website on the 11th of June. It arrived in about 2 weeks directly to my door which was nice. It was well packed and every that was supposed to be there was there. *Specifications* Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 3gb RAM Vista Home Premium 250 GB hard ... Read the complete review

The core 2 duo processor really helps with the media side of computers. 2 very powerful machines work together to provide a very quick response rate. as it is made by Dell you know great support is available, while you may be able to find a similar spec laptop at cheaper cost. I believe the ram is upgradable which is probably ... Read the complete review

Inspiron 1425 is a mid-position product, It has a certain business style notebook products, but its travel weight is nearly three kilograms, this limit its activity. In design, seems a bit similiar with the ThinkPad R series , especially in the design of the keyboard and the overall color design. Cap of 1425 also used the ... Read the complete review

A very stylish laptop, and the performance to match, at a price that won't break your bank balance! Using the Dell outlet store I grabbed a bargain spec Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 (2.0GHz, 800MHz, 2MB), 3GB RAM, 15.6" widescreen, with an extra high capacity battery. I was surprised by how wide the screen is, 1366 x 768 pixels, so there ... Read the complete review

You know what really make this Dell Inspiron 1545 really a good netbook out there. It has a very good competitive price with decent performance. You are free to choose an Intel Celeron, or a Core 2 Duo (I guess Core 2 Duo T5800is better). It is also pretty impressive to hear that you can boost your RAM up to 4GB (3GB is best to save some money and ... Read the complete review

I have been using the dell inspiron for almost 12 months and have yet to have any problems, the screen is large enough for movie watching and the processing speed excelent, the laptop does struggle with overheating when used over a long period of time but for this to happen you have to be using a lot of computing power. I bought the Dell Inspiron laptop a year ago for work purposes, for £349. The laptop was easy to set up, and is easy to use. The standard laptop comes with a decent amount of memory and copes well with long periods of heavy use both in terms of battery life and speed when multiple programmes are in use. Reliability so far is excellent, a ... Read the complete review

I bought this dell inspiron for £329. If you need a laptop for doing the basics then this is an ideal purchase. However i would not reccomend it for people who enjoy playing high spec games and take 1000's of photos as many do. ?.The good thing about it is they are quick to repair them and are usually reasonably priced. I had to get the entire ... Read the complete review

I bought this laptop direct from Dell for £379, with free delivery. I had researched laptops on the web beforehand - I knew that I wanted a reliable but basic laptop for my son to take to university with him, and because of this I did not upgrade to a customised colour, bluetooth, a webcam, or any of the other upgrades on offer. He has ... Read the complete review

After being let down by many other companies, I decided on purchasing this computer. With a great spec - Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 (2GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB Cache) - and at not a bad price, it is well worth purchasing!
Ive had mine for about 3 months now, had no problem what so ever with it. As not much of a computer person, this is extremely good to use and well worth the money. It is very quick to start up, a great amount of memory on the computer - ideal for students/adults that like online shopping or general PC gameplay - its fun for all the family. Me and three family members use this laptop and we have had no problems what so ever - apart from fighting over who gets on it at what time!
Very good computer, well worth purchasing!!

My mum was looking for her first laptop and I narrowed it down to this one, an Acer and a Compaq. The Dell won after reading other reviews regarding the processor and general build quality. It was an absolute doddle to set up. As my mum isn't using it for file sharing purposes I've downloaded freeware software and changed IE to Firefox and the ... Read the complete review

Before i had this I had the 1501 what was at a great price but did not work well and could lag sometimes. In everyway I love this 1545, its great looking on of the best looking dell laptops I have ever seen, the processor is brilliant, it doesnt lag or stop and its extremly fast, and with vista premium it just makes it the perfect laptop, and finally for the price it is amazing, such a well priced laptop for such a brilliant laptop.

I purchased the Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop back in January for my daughter's birthday.
