Laptop PC? No get this and move around!! (Dell Inspiron 4000)

this is the Dell Inspiron 4000 series, and what a machine this is.
my model has the pIII processor and i would say this is the minimum you need for this sort of system, anything below that would make your apps run too slow.
one big thing on laptops is that you should get a good manufacturer, as more will go wrong with them over time than with a conventional desktop system.
this comes with all the windows apps as standard, preloaded and on cd rom.
i opted for the dvd rom which is great and will play multi region movies. just load in a foreign movie and it automatically installs the driver from the dvd rom.
one drawback, if you use the infared link, that is for connecting to the internet or just for file transfer from your phone, it takes a while to process things on-line. also you must get the software of the phone providers website, in my case, www.nokia.com/forum and they have all the software you need there, plus it needs to go on cd writable disk if you are uploading it from elsewhere as the file is about 3mb.
get this machine now, it will sort out your life, and dell really look after you in an honest way, i spoke to mick dillon at dell and he always called back etc when he said he would!
the system should last about 3 hrs on battery, and the dvd rom drive can be interchanged with the floppy drive so they are not fixed as with many laptops! you can use them both together as there is a cable given for the floppy drive to be used externally!!
go on, get one like me and chuck out that huge desk-hogging desktop!!! i can see my desk now!
