The dell computer is not a small slim-line computer. You can even customise the appearance of your computer. The panels shown on the Dell Inspiron Range in blue can be changed.

Weight

The computer is a bit heavy but if you are going to be putting it on a table then it is not that bad.

Power Consumption

The laptop uses a lot of battery power. My laptop usually cuts out after 3 to 4 hours.

Manual/Instructions

The manuals and instructions, which come with the PC, are very helpful indeed. The manuals are very clear and very precise.

My computer even came with a video, which instructed me on how to change the panels on the computer and what to do when I turn my computer. In my opinion this is a very good idea.

Guarantee

The guarantee, which comes with the computer as standard, is 1-year collect and return service, but this can be customised when buying the computer.

What do you get for your money?

Well the computer itself is very fast, and reliable. The good thing is it can be moved around.

The standard Inspiron 4100 comes with a Mobile Intel Pentium Processor 1.0GHz, this processor is very fast. It gives you more than enough speed if you are a home user or student.

The computer is fitted with a standard 56Kbps V90 modem, for some people this might not be very fast. But Dell, look after their customers your modem can be customised to ISDN if you wish.

The laptop computer comes with 128MB 133MHz, SDRAM & 10GB Removable EIDE Hard Drive, much like the modem this can be upgraded.



The package, which they now offer, is almost unbelievable it comes with the following things:

In my opinion this computer is very versatile. It can be used by businessmen, home users and for students. It is important that when buying a computer you look at what you are buying it for and the purpose of it.


How does it compare with other product?

Well in my opinion it is a very stable and reliable PC. Technology is changing all the time but keeping up to date can be a very expensive these days.

If you want to buy a Laptop computer with the same specifications then I would strongly recommend this Laptop.
