I recently was bought a new laptop by my employer. Its a Dell Lattitude CPx750GT, together with a 17" flat panel monitor and a docking station. The CPU is 750MHz and theres 256Mb of RAM, so its reasonably quick and came with Windows 2000. I don't use it to play games, although I do thrash it a bit with computational stuff for my work. ... Over the last 3 years I have nursed a cycle of 1500 latitudes, from some of the oldest to some of the latest models. To be honest I am still not sure if they are a good buy. My office have used this model of Dell for 4 months and it has seen alot of trouble. My collegues and myself have reported similar troubles of keys failing to work, the infra red lens breaking off, mouse buttons breaking and the mouse sometimes moves itself. I have worked with Dell Pcs for a while now, usually, OptiPlex desktops and Latitude note books. Aswell as variuos other brands of notebooks.
