Advantages: small size, reliability, strong hardware system, low cpu noise

Disadvantages: dim screen, screen-keyboard separation problem, loose keyboard, weak DVD drive

The product is nice as a whole, very easy to carry due to its small size(compared to other laptops of the same price like that of Sony). In most DELL products, the problem is breaking (separation) of LSD panel with the main body at the attachment joints(seen in most dell laptops used at a university). Although this is a problem, Dell Inc. offers warranty of its product which many other laptop makers don't.
Another less attractive feature of dell is its not-so-bright LCD screen compared to other LCDs like that of Sony, Toshiba which i could see at shopping stores. The colour of LCD doesn't turn bright no matter what you try. However, Dell has a very easy to use system which i found very helpful. It is reliable, even if you keep your laptop on for few days, nothing will go wrong to your laptop, it works in the same way as it used to, without slowing down. Most of dell laptops come in this silvery colour so there is not so much choice in colour as i used to prefer black laptops. Another problem which i see is that there are considerable large gaps between keys in the keyboard due to which dust can easily enter into the system and i regularly need to clean it. I must say keys are little weak and has come out in most laptops in my university. But again as i say, they repair EVERYTHING free for you till a span of warranty period. It's price is little expensive compared to similar laptops in the market but DELL is DELL. As a whole, it has an a very good quality. I have bought it 2 years ago and there is not a single problem so i say this is good.

Summary: smaller size, strong hardware and software system but little expensive, no problem is buying it
