Reasonable laptop, but I would not recommend it.

On reading the specifications for the Dell Latitude E5400 I was impressed, although it is not the most attractive laptop like a lot of savvy shoppers I was more interested in price and what's beneath the surface. This computer appeared to have all the necessities multiple USB ports, DVD-ROM, CD-RW/DVD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc.. and enough RAM and processing power to run multiple demanding programs at once without issue. Consider my surprise on purchase when the start up process was slow, programs unresponsive and most frustrating of all the battery life, it only lasts 2 hours unplugged! Seriously DELL what were thinking when you make this laptop. That said when its working and plugged into the mains, it does do the job. If you can only purchase only computer for both the office and business travel AND have access to regular mains power, this is a reasonable comprise. Overall however I was unimpressed and disappointed, especially for the price.
