Advantages: Extended wireless range comes in very useful and improved performance noticeable

Disadvantages: Flimsy keys on an otherwise perfect laptop

When my work told me that they were taking my Dell D600 laptop off of me a couple of months ago to replace it with a Dell D620, I'll admit that I was a little concerned as the D600 had served me so well.

Fortunately, Dell seemed to pull another great laptop out of their magic bags in the form of the 620 and I was thrilled to see that they decided to keep the widescreen feature above all else.

Despite the weeks of constantly being switched on and running highly intensive applications non-stop, i've yet to have any problems with the laptop.

I found the wireless very reliable with its extended range even in a build up office area.

The only negative thing that i could say is that the keys do seem a little flimsy as per previous models which is something that dell need to review.

When it comes to value for money, the price of the laptop seems to vary greatly and can be purchased from around £500 depending on the specs. This seems a tad expensive for the average every day user, but for someone looking for a laptop with some fantastic features it is definately value for money.

In summary, i've been very impressed with the D620 and although there are a couple of small niggles that Dell need to iron out they really haven't put a foot wrong in the design and implementation.

Summary: Very impressive machine with only a few niggles to fix.
