I got this Laptop through my Job, which they kindly brought for me. I mainly got it because of the serial port on the back (which most laptops nowadays dont have). But i find this laptop will handle every application that is going today. Also one of the great functions that is on the laptop is a built in light sensor so if its ...

After making my way through 3 Laptops of various makes and models i finally received my Dell Latitude D430 recently and so please i have got a laptop that does everything i require. I have found with other laptops they sound all singing dancing on paper but to be honest they have failed miserably. The Dell laptop D430 i have owned now for 2 months and i am reaaly pleased with just about everything which suprise me because its my first Dell computer. The memory, Graphics, still has all the capacity even though the laptop is used for work and for buisness. The main thing i look for in a laptop is sturdiness and durability hense why this is my 4th Laptop but i can honestly ...

saying this it is less heavy than most other laptops of the same size. The Latitude D505 has never caused me any problems and has been worth every penny I paid for it! I would recommend it to anyone who needs to have a reliable laptop while travelling. I did however get my laptop off ebay (never been used before but was in storage so some of the features that come as standard now weren t there; I added a wireless for £20 and it brought the laptop up to scratch) and it was only just over half the price of buying it from Dell s website. Would also recommend the D600... is very similar with slightly better design and features! ...

Products similar to Dell Latitude X1 Burner

Reliable, good battery and good wireless reception. Screen is useless outside and low space on hard drive.

Having internet wireless already on the laptop so you can go online immediately. None that I can think of.

Ability to upgrade numerous components via Dell's website Unstable firmware with Vista, This has probably been sorted now

Easy to navigate, runs like a dream if kept well, not too pricey Occasional hardware failure

Fast, long battery life Vista, screen flashes randomly at times
