Advantages: Lightweight, small, nice looks

Disadvantages: Niggly build quality issues, performance

I bought this laptop as I do a lot of work in the city and wanted something that was light with a high spec and could fit into a bag and then easy to carry around.

On this front it does the job perfectly.

However it has let itself down on a few reliability issues. The first is the power supply. I have had 2 replaced (under warranty) in the first 12 months. This is annoying as the laptop will work with the charger plugged in but will not charge the battery which defeats the purpose of a laptop!

I have now noticed that performance is not great with additional applications installed, nothing memory hungry but combined it seems to struggle.

The lid hinge is now also VERY loose after 18 months of use and will not stay up (waiting to be replaced under warrenty).

All in all its ok, and nicer looking that a lot of other laptops out there and is good for basic office stuff on the move. If you're a developer, programmer, gamer then I'd look elsewhere.

Summary: Ok but built to a price
