A light, reliable, powerful, stylish notebook. I've had my Dell XPS M1330 for about a year now. I bought a jet black carbon top model that had previously been a customer return for just over £500 delivered. It was a bargain at almost £900 new and still had a significant part of it 3 years onsite Dell warranty which was easily ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Dell XPS M1330

I got my laptop for Xmas in 2007 and in less than a year my hard drive went. Dell were very good and sent me a new hard drive but of course had to re load everything. Then just last week I opened up to find a totally white screen and to find out the motherboard had gone. As its now out of warranty, but less than 2years old, and the cost was almost £900 - I'm not impressed. This is seemingly a problem that Dell know about?? I now need another laptop and don't know what to go for.

I needed a laptop which was quite small & light so I could carry it around easily but also at the same fully specked & able to carry out a number of incentive tasks at once, on paper the XPS M1330 ticked all the boxes. When I received it and opened the box, this laptop looked beautiful and was very thin & light too. It runs ...  Read the complete review

I got my Dell XPS M1330 for my birthday a year ago now, and unlike what would be the case with many Dell products, I am still typing on this laptop right now. The first thing I noticed about it when i opened the case was the stunning design work that has gone into it. It looks amazing i've got to say, so sleek and stylish. I went for the black ...  Read the complete review

Having used this laptop for just under a year, i am yet to come across a single problem. Like most laptops, yes it does have afew little gripes but i'll move onto those later on. On the positive side this laptop has easily managed to run some of the latest games(Call of Duty etc) and also assisted me in video editing using some rather ...  Read the complete review

Excellent laptop to start with, developed a few problems after a few weeks. The design is second to none with high quality materials but the laptop seems to overheat quite a bit with the fan not working as often as I would like. However Dell's service is second to none - I called one day and a new power charger was delivered the next without any ...  Read the complete review

Now this is a laptop. I got this to replace my existing 17" Toshiba which I have for a few years. Even though the screen is only 13.3" it isn't by any means small. The screen is perfect, mine has the 300nit display. Only in the sun can it be a pain with the glare as the screen acts as a ...  Read the complete review

I've owned my Dell M1330 for just over 12 months. My previous laptop was a 15" Sony Vaio which was a superb computer, just a bit too heavy in weight and electricity consumption. I looked for another Sony Vaio, but quickly realised that reducing the size greatly increased the cost. Looking at other more portable laptops I explored ...  Read the complete review

I bought this laptop as I do a lot of work in the city and wanted something that was light with a high spec and could fit into a bag and then easy to carry around. On this front it does the job perfectly. However it has let itself down on a few reliability issues. The first is the power supply. I have had 2 replaced (under ...  Read the complete review

I've had this Laptop for almost a year now. In this time I've had to have the motherboard replaced because of an unexplained graphics problem, and I've also had to buy a new charger because the PC started to say that it didnt not recognise the charger I was using. ed XPS M1330 is stunning. I think designers of this laptop thought well of the design. The features are good, I like the speed of it's Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo (Merom) processor. Also RAM is upgradable up to 4 G which is better for vista users. Camera quality is perfect with it's 2 megapixel resolution. Also the choices of having a 4 cell, 6 cell or 9 ...  Read the complete review

The Dell XPS M1330 is the company's attempt at an ultra-portable laptop. Being a Mac fan, this was the obvious choice for me when choosing a PC latop, so I spent just over £900 with some options add to get one of these with an Intel Core2Duo T9300 2.5GHz processor. The processor is really rather fast and offers me a good enough turn of speed to ...  Read the complete review

Dell can be a bit hit and miss with their laptops, also with their customer service, but sometimes they seem to get things just right. I bought my XPS M1330 in Feb 08 to replace a smaller laptop that was just getting to be annoying. I don't like my laptops to be too large so the 13.3" screen was a good compromise. I received my Dell M1330 pretty much a year ago, and I have to say that it has not all been smooth sailing... It came nicely packaged, and I have to say that it is very quick - mine has the 2.2ghz processor and 2 gb of ram, and that's all I've needed, even for gaming. Unfortunately, reliability has been a slight issue, with ...  Read the complete review
