... battery on mine lasts about 2 hrs unconnected to mains which I think is pretty good. Its so heavy I wouldn t think of taking it anywhere anyway. It looks nice and came in a range of colours. I had a few problems with keys sticking when it was new but its fine now. It did come with a Dell printer as part of a special offer, but the printer has just died and is not worth fixing so I ve had to purchase a new one.... Dell Studio 15 ... large, memory eating software and programs such as Microsoft Office and Macro Media. Not only that, it can run them easily simultaneously without breaking a sweat. It also can handle some demanding games like Call of Duty and Medal Of Honor. It also has a very nice and appealing design that is quite trendy to take university or college. However, here are the bad things. Very occasionally the Dell Laptop crashes. I don t have a clue why and sometimes it can be a bit frustrating, though I ve lived to cope with it. Another thing, the Dell also gets very hot after about an hour of use. So you have to switch off and let it cool. So if your looking to buy this machine, k... Dell Inspiron 1545 ... brought this Dell Inspiron laptop at the start of the summer and sicne then i have been on it most days doing my very important work for college. I also use it to watch dvds and the widescreen screen works really well when watching wide screen films. At first i didnt really no if i liked this laptop but after a week or so of having it i was really glad i choose this on erather than other ones i was looking at. The graphics are amazing; they are crisp and sharp. the memory must be great on this as i still havnt used it all up and i think i save alot of thing onto the laptop. Dell Studio 15 ... bought my Dell Studio 15 back in June and it s had it s ups and downs. For the money it s a great deal, it s fast and can cope with most standard applications. Word processing and basis office type programes run well, and it can even deal with some pretty advanced computer games and graphics. Also the sound is really great for a laptop. That s the good bit. Sadly mine has a gremlin and crashes randomly. There s no real reason for it and even after having a couple of experts look at it there seems to be no solution. Dell have not proved helpful in sorting it out either. I guess I just got a Monday morning machine. Still a shame when you ve spent the money getting someth...
