Dell Inspiron 1545 ... The laptop was not dropped or stood on, this has happened due to poor build quality. I have had the laptop just over a year (now out of warranty) so if anyone is considering an Inspiron please beware, as this seems to be a common problem. I m going to call a few laptop repair shops tomorrow to see how much this will cost to fix. I had been researching laptops for a while and decided on a Dell Inspiron 1545. I spotted them on the Tesco Direct website at a bargain price of £349 (most other sellers charge £399). Dell Studio 15 ... screen is 15.6 inch but the resolution you can get on it is 1920x1080 it s outstanding, it s great pleasure to watch movies on it, but if you like bigger screens you can use is as a media player for your TV as it has HDMI port. The keyboard is really comfy and silent, the body of it is done in proper and solid way, it looks good and long lasting. As for this price I expected something better, and my friend as well as he is a game maniac, still you can play new games but no on the highest resolution this notebook can offer. An last thing the battery last betwen 3 and 4 hours, as for me it s too short, 2 more hours and it would change my opinion about this Dell product.... Dell Studio 15 ... ordered a customised Dell Studio 15 about the 20th September and was at first disappointed with the scheduled delivery date of the 5th October; instead I found myself pleasantly surprised as it arrived around a week earlier, complete with altered specification and all the add-ons I selected pre-installed. This was Microsoft Office Student Edition 2007, Vodafone 60 days free mobile broadband, 15 months McAfee Anti-Virus free (as part of a deal they had on) plus other accoutrements.
