The Amilo 2515 is a very good laptop, and cheap with that. At just under £400 the Amilo comes with a 2GB RAM and a massive 160GB hard drive. I have found the laptop to be very reliable, as was to be expected from a Fujitsu Siemens. The battery life is very long for a cheap laptop, I have had it unplugged - on power saver - for 3 hours whilst watching a movie and the battery was still on 20%. I cannot imagine how long it would last if one was doing something simple such as word processing!
