Advantages: Flat, sharp pictured large screen. Light and portable. Stylish and attractive

Disadvantages: Not as slimline as people may like. Cannot be used on lap, needs ventilation.

This is a great little machine. The style is very clean and tidy and the cream keyboard looks very attractive against the light metallic blue body. As far as the hardware is concerned, there is a picture perfect flat, color-corrected screen for watching your movies or doing some photo work. The hard drive could be bigger, but at 20gig is really all anyone needs. There is sufficient but well advisably upgradable RAM of 256MB.

The 3 USB ports prove very useful for using multiple peripherals, also included is a firewire socket, unfortunately not the larger one but still handy for digital film and photography, and a TV out socket, again usefull for the above.

The computer itself contains a modest 2ghz celeron processor and is actually faster than the majority of competitors of the same clockspeed. The DVD rom multidrive is fast and plays smoothly, albeit slightly noisily.

The system comes with XP home, and has not been tested by Microsoft with anything more advanced and 2000 certainly isnt accepted! The power socket isnt in the most convenient place around the left hand side but this doesnt really effect the success this system deserves.

This machine is a suprisingly fast home or office laptop and should certainly not be overlooked. It has been built with media as a definate specification and looks as great as it runs.

Summary: Clean, tidy notebook with media on its mind. Definately a winner.
