Advantages: Powerful, Built in items, Runs quickly
Disadvantages: Bit of poor battery life, Tad on the heavy side
I have found the Fujitsu-siemens Amilo 7400 an amazing and powerful tool. It has less processing power than my standard pc, yet it runs faster!!
For home use, it has a more than enough power to cope with gaming (although I haven't tried it online as yet), complex Photoshop graphics and general day to day items.
Being the first time I have owned a laptop, I have nothing to really compare it to. I do find the battery life on the short side, as once it's below 50% the power just seems to drain quickly.
Apart from that, I have absoltely no gripes with this lovley little machine at all.
Small, compact, powerful, quick, built in cdr/w drive, built in wireless LAN capable, mmc/sd card reader and a pci slot for placing a mobile network card in, making it truely portable.
I'm sure there are more powerful laptops out there, but for SOHO (small office, home office) and general home use, you can't fall off at all.

- 29/09/04 Welcome to Dooyoo.
A few tips to get you started on the site: Although there's no limit on the amount of reviews you can post it's better to post just three a day then you'll find you get more reads. If you read and rate around the site you'll soon find out what should be included in a review plus you'll get known to other members which will result in them reading things that you post.
It’s always a good idea to write your reviews as though you are writing for someone who has never heard of the product, that way you’ll cover everything. Also it’s best to write your review in Microsoft Word and run a spellchecker before posting onto the site.
You can ask any of the guides for help with any aspect of the site and a list of all the guides can be found here http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/c ommunity/_page/advice_gui des/. They will do everything they can to help with your query.
You can sign up for your own guest book at http://www.crosswordcheat s.com/tooyoo/ where you can chat with other Dooyoo members.
Above all I hope you enjoy it here and have fun :O) Sara
