I guess the guy who wrote the previous review has particularly chubby, sensitive hands. I have had no problems whatsoever with my dear Amilo, the trackpad is smooth and easy to use and the scroll bar has never given me any problems to speak of.

Sure, the thing heats up a little, but no more than any other laptop I have used.

And by the way, I am a freelance journalist so my main use for the 'puter is writing - and it's a dream. I'm looking for one for my girlfriend now too.

One criticism is the battery life, which is indeed dismal. And why they didn't include a separate numerical pad, given the size of the darn thing, is beyond me. It would easily have fit.
