The extensa is a new model from acer and although they have been working on it for over a year now it wasn t until a few months ago that these laptops went on sale. Hey there, I bought the Amile 1640 from a Swiss vendor advertising it as a 64-bit Laptop . The reality is, though, that the AMD Mobile Sempron processor that the computer has is in fact NOT a 64-bit processor, the desktop semron 3000+ is, but not the mobile... So, this is a great discouragement, and I may ask to send it back, but I ll tell you some of the reviews I hae for this model.
