My Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pa 1510 heats up so much that it has actually burned and scorched my leg. I made the mistake of using it on my lap (I know it says not to, but it IS a laptop after all). It is quite heavy compared to other laptops I have used but it is quite easy to use and looks reasonably smart. The power cable/adapter stopped working after a couple of months and I noticed that it had split although it was treated gently. I am studying with the Open University and my Amilo 1510 serves a purpose for typing and submitting essays etc., but I wouldn't want to depend on it for business purposes. It is rather slow when searching and the battery life is only about an hour which I think is really poor. What's the point of having a laptop if it's not worth taking out of the house?
