It was a very good purchase , now it's almost 3 years and i haven't any problem . it runs smooth and fast. i agree with philip it's really very very well performing laptop and as he said yes , battery life is not so long , i'm able to play DVD about 1.47 min. even still today , which is no so bad & it runs like New even till date of today . Generally i use it with A/C power & do some time to time little maintenance .
i wonder what had happen with Grym it sounds something went wrong or may be it was just unfortunately.
i hear about so many other marks but not so much about Fujitsu and this is the only one , not made in china....i would recommend it to every one who would like to have a reliable & easy laptop.....
this laptop was a very good purchase, had it for 5 months now and no problems whatsoever. somebody on here said the buttons have come off, sounds like they been throwing it around, because mine are all fine. for the price i paid the performance is very good. the only downside is the battery life, as it only lasts about 100 minutes, but thats more than enough to do most things you need to do.a good all round laptop, would recomend it too anybody.
I am writing this review using my own Fujitsu laptop, and let me tell you that it is NOT a pleasant experience. The start wtih I am having the dodge the many exposed circuits that I have to manually press since three of the keys on the flimsy, poor quality keyboard up and left less than three months after purchase. Judging from the locking and alarming cracking sounds the keyboard makes, the others aren't far off making thier way to laptop Heavan eiter.
The computer itself is lightweight and small, but that aside I can find no otherpostive points. It is abominably slow, often reporting errors that would baffle even the most patient of IT consultants. (SECURITY!!! Was a recent one. Seriously). It stubbornly refuses to display the task manager, instead assuming that by display task manager, you meant 'show me a black screen then restart', does not allow administrators to preform even basic functions (I am not allowed to change my desktop wallpaper, despite being the admin, and only account holder) and along with a plethora of other errors, inconsistancies and downright dangerous faults it makes this laptop worth less than the effort of owning it.
I cannot advise against it's purchase strongly enough, I have owned my laptop for less than a year and already have had to send it back three times, I have since given up, reasoning that if it is returned broken one more time I will be reduced to a quivering hysterical luddite.
