Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi 2515 This is a really great laptop. I orginally bought this laptop as a replacement for my dell laptop, which after 18months I began to have problems with. I decided to go for a Fujitsu Siemens, as I have heard how reliable they are as a company and especially for computers. I have found that with ... Read the complete review

Out of all of the laptops I've worked on, I am most impressed with this. The keyboard and "mouse" are easy to use. There are two fully-functional, free, USB ports which is very useful when I want to put songs onto my iPod! I've had the laptop for over a year now and I've got no complaints. It's got heaps of memory ... Read the complete review

Having fallen in love with this laptop when it first come out i knew this was the one i wanted, I have never purchased a laptop before though so did not really know what to look for other than comparing specifications in the store and going for the better one. This laptop at the time costed around £550, which i think was a fair ... Read the complete review

This Fujitsu Siemens laptop is yet another one from the amilo range. This Amilo Pi2515 model has great design and great build quality as well as being reasonably priced. The design of this laptop is great, I personally think it's the best amilo laptop Fujitsu Siemens have made so far, and I think it will shape how they design other ... Read the complete review

Updated with a lot more detail. This is a very good-value laptop. It is relatively inexpensive, at about £550, but comes with a good feature set, reasonably fast dual-core Intel processor (1.8 GHz), but the 2GB of RAM means it will actually run surprising fast with some more memory intensive software (e.g. photo-editing software). It ... Read the complete review

Avoid this brand at all costs. I purchased an Amilo in late 06 (previous spec to this model). After just over 12 months it completely failed (reported by qualified engineer as motherboard component failure). I did not consider a 14 month old lap top was 'fit for purpose' and after much battling the retailer replaced it with this model. Two months after getting a brand new 2515 it too has failed in a similar way. It looks like another battle with the retailer as I now want a refund or replacement alternative brand. One important point from all this, dont be fobbed off by the retailer saying it is the manufacturers responsibility. It is NOT,and whether or not it is inside the 12 month manufactuerers warranty, it the RETAILERS RESPONSIBILTY not the makers, any warranty the maker offers is additional to YOUR RIGHTS under the Trades Description Act.

The Amilo 2515 is a very good laptop, and cheap with that. At just under £400 the Amilo comes with a 2GB RAM and a massive 160GB hard drive. I have found the laptop to be very reliable, as was to be expected from a Fujitsu Siemens. The battery life is very long for a cheap laptop, I have had it unplugged - on power saver - for 3 hours ... This is a fantastic laptop, i used it for my advertising business and it was cheap, versitile and effective. It could handle new installations with ease, and the 2gb RAM comes in so handy when using multiple programs, and it makes everything run so much faster and smoother. It has a huge hard drive and i have lots of work things, and i ... Read the complete review
