Advantages: nice tidy laptop

Disadvantages: poor battery life, expensive for replacement charger

As a laptop goes, this one will do the basics reasonably well. The keys are nice and soft and the mouse button is easy to use and navigates really well. It was quite well priced at the time and came with an excellent software package. This laptop doesnt really like security software and works better with wireless broadband as opposed to dial up modem. The drawback is that it takes about 15 minutes to fully load up before internet explorer can be launched. The chargers are well known for cables breaking near to the connector and replacements are not cheap. The battery will not last longer than an hour when fully charged even though it states 2 hours left on the desktop. I am not sure if it is a problem with our laptop, but when you plug the i-pod in, you cannot move the cable to it otherwise the computer will shut down.

Summary: ok if buying second hand, I would not spend a lot of money on one
