Advantages: Clear screen, great value for money.

Disadvantages: Poor onboard speakers

The really long battery power on this laptop has led me to recommend it to 3 people now, and it's not something I do lightly. High specs for the money aside, it's light and sturdy (surviving a drop on the floor with barely a scratch).

The monitor is clear and bright, keyboard responsive & well sized. Even the touchpad is intuitive & easy to use- something I've never been able to endorse before.

I originally bought this under duress- it was the cheapest laptop I could find still running XP, but I'm glad I did!

Once I upgraded the memory it zipped through photoshop like lightening. The built-in wifi card has a long range, the CDRW is much speedier than I expected.

My only negative (and I would have to be pushed to say it) would be the onboard speakers are a bit poor. But what can be expected for a laptop??
