everything you want in a laptop

This laptop really is in every shape and form a business mans ideal laptop.
There really isn't any downsides to this laptop at all, well except from the extremely high price tag, but if you've got the money to spend then what a machine to spend it on.
This fujitsu lifebook E8410, is a quite new type of laptop from the fujitsu siemens brand. These new laptops are called lifebook, and are especially designed for portability and super quick running speeds.

The design of this laptop is fantastic, its combination of three main colours makes it look a lot more modern than some of its predecessors and gives it a cool edge over its rivals.
A business mans laptop that looks cool instead of boring seemed to be something acers travel mates just weren't designed to be and I don't think acer could ever figure out how to get this balance, fujitsu however have, and it really shows.
The plastic section around the screen is black, and is also strong and sturdy, the body of the laptop is silver with a nice grey keypad that stands out from the laptop and the bottom of the laptop and sides of the laptop are also black, it really is a stunning looking laptop.
The main reason why this is so fast is its very large amount of ram built into it. This laptop has 2 gb of ram which handles loading up and the running of all those demanding programs you might need to use when on the move.
The great thing about this laptop is that over time, if your laptop becomes slower, which they all seem to do. You can always upgrade the ram to a massive 4 gb's. this is an option that a lot of people wont ever do, however its there if you want it and it really would increase your laptops performance dramatically.

Taking into account all its high spec features, you would expect it to have about 160 gb of hard drive, or at least 120. But this laptop however only has 80 gb of storage space built in. I don't know whether to class this as a downside as I know everyone wants the most they can get, but honestly do you really need more than 80 gb of hard drive? Well I certainly know I don't and I guess most people don't either, so this 80 gb should really be enough and not a downside to the laptop at all.
Most laptops this portable have smaller screens. This is so that the battery life is prolonged because there's not as much screen to light up and also because it makes the laptop lighter and smaller too.
This one however has a average of a normal, non portable laptop. It has a 15.4" TFT active matrix screen, yet it still only weighs 2.5 kg and has an incredible amount of battery life.
Its battery life is an amazing 7 hours, which is certainly the most in a laptop iv ever tested before and im not sure there's a longer lasting laptop out there or not. This truly does have the capability to be used on the go, and pretty much all day if need be.
The reason why it can last this long its due to its 8-cell Lithium Ion batteries, as most laptops only have 6-cell Lithium Ion batteries instead of 8 like this one does.

In terms of features, it does have a built in memory card slot. It also comes with windows vista business, scene as it is a business laptop.
There's really nothing bad I can say about this laptop, it is in everyway a super machine, its fast, it looks amazing and above all it's got the best portability features iv ever seen in a laptop, ever.
You could say the 80 gb of hard drive is small, however this would be enough for me so I don't see this as a problem, the one and only downside to this laptop then is its price. Costing around £1400, you'll maybe wanting to think about spending the money on a car or something before spending this much on a laptop. But for all those who do have the money, I really cant think of a better laptop to get.
