Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook T4010

Premium Review 'THE' £1700 computer (411 words)

Rating:

I recently had the fortunate opportunity to buy a F Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook T4010D (slightly different model) for the fantastic price of £150, which is a bargain considering that the original retail price of this marvellous piece of machinery is set at approximately £1700. The only difference between the T4010 and the T4010D is that the latter comes with a Pentium M725 1.6GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. However, the one I bought had been upgraded to 2GB of RAM which I believe is the maximum it can take. The Lifebook itself is quite weighty but it s very solid and sturdy and has a modern sleek and curvy design. This is also a Tablet PC and when it s open it looks pretty ...

Don t forget; if you just want to surf the net, write documents (etc) and don t want to play the latest games on your laptop, you don t need the latest kit. As a side note, Windows XP works fine on them, even though they re only about 500MHz. Just goes to show how optimised they ...

Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook C1020

Premium Review Solid but very outdated laptop (362 words)

When I saw that the Fujitsu Lifebook C1020 was one of the most wanted products for review on dooyoo I was a bit surprised. However seeing the price that it is available for I guess it is not surprising. I purchased the laptop when it first came out and was very pleased at how fast and efficiently it worked. What you must consider now with this review is that the technology used to power it is now very out of date. The laptop isn t the lightest of devices weighing in at 6.4lbs but as you generally find with heavier devices it is a very sturdy device. Memory wise it is a small 20gb hard drive and will not be suitable for storing music or film collections. But this ...
