Fujitsu Siemens Amilo EL6800 ... is a great little machine. The style is very clean and tidy and the cream keyboard looks very attractive against the light metallic blue body. As far as the hardware is concerned, there is a picture perfect flat, color-corrected screen for watching your movies or doing some photo work. The hard drive could be bigger, but at 20gig is really all anyone needs. There is sufficient but well advisably upgradable RAM of 256MB. The 3 USB ports prove very useful for using multiple peripherals, also included is a firewire socket, unfortunately not the larger one but still handy for digital film and photography, and a TV out socket, again usefull for the above. Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A ... there, I bought the Amile 1640 from a Swiss vendor advertising it as a 64-bit laptop. The reality is, though, that the AMD Mobile Sempron processor that the computer has is in fact NOT a 64-bit processor, the desktop semron 3000+ is, but not the mobile... So, this is a great discouragement, and I may ask to send it back, but I ll tell you some of the reviews I hae for this model. I payed 1250 CHF which is less than 900 euros, this is a pretty sweet price considering the machine it is. Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook S6120 ... I have had a number of Fujitsu Siemens laptops. This is by far the best I have had and I can safely say that compared to many other makes and models it is outstanding. Likes: Ok so what do I like about it? Firstly, I specifically wanted one that I could use on the train without bothering other travellers. It is small enough to sit happily on my knees without encroaching on other people s space. Secondly, the build quality is amazing. Although it feels light it is not at all flimsy and has a solid feel to it. The screen is of a good quality aswell, something not all laptops can claim.
