I was given a Gateway Solo and I have to say it would be more use to keep my feet up under my desk than actually use. OK there are some good points about it, its fast for applications. A nice 32mb ram helps windows 98 to start up quickly. The keyboard fells really good hen typing, and you can easily change the floppy drive and CD-Rom around. There are many access ports and and infa-red port if you have an organizer or infa-red mobile phone.
There are some good points about this laptop but I hate every part about it. The reason is that whn I recieved this computer, every time i slightly nudged it it turned off and I realised this was becuase Gateway had forced the hard drive in and it had bent back the pins which ment that a slight movement would turn off the PC. I was very annoyed and so now Gateway want me to pay to fix it and it costs to much so I use it as a foot rest now.
