HP Pavilion dv8387ea ... using a Dell laptop for 3 years, using Vista, facing constant overheating issues etc. I decided to get a new laptop. After much consideration and reading other reviews this the HP Pavilion dv8387ea seemed a great option. I can happily say that I made a great choice. First of all the appearance of this laptop is great. The touch pad is a little difficult to use, it almost being like a mirror. I got a laptop with Windows 7 pre-installed, which is probably quite common now, and the reliability of this laptop in comparison to one with vista is incredible. HP Compaq Business Notebook 6735s ... ve had this laptop for about 10 months now, and it continues to impress. It came with Vista Home Premium, and we got it for a truly amazing deal at the time: it cost £320, and it came with 4GB RAM and a dualcore 2.4GHZ AMD processor, dvdrw, bluetooth, 320GB HDD, a larger 12-cell battery and a nice 15.4" screen, so not exactly the same spec as that listed here. For the price the specification is absolutely incredible. It boots vista with remarkable speed compared to our other laptop which has 2GB of RAM and a dualcore 1.44GH processor, and the rest of the specification is similarly good. I ordered from two different sites but both turned out to be out of stock or discontinued. I finally managed to purchase this from Tesco for £580 much to my disappointment because previous sites were advertising from £450 - 500 Product Appearance: Firstly I d like to say that it s not what it appears from the picture on any sites.
