HP Compaq Mobile Workstation Nw8000:
... am by no means a computer expert but i cant fault this workbook on its performance. It is fully capable wireless computer, perfect for a person on the move. I did find it a little bulky though as it weighs 3kgs but the performance for me out weighs this. the audio output is great, perfect for sitting in your hotel room watching a dvd. HP Pavilion zd8255EA ... a laptop is a risky business. Firstly, you need to decide why you want one. Secondly, you need to decide what you will do with it. Finally, set yourself a budget and realise that your laptop maybe out of date in a couple of months. I required a desktop replacement for a number of reasons. Wireless networking would be handy around the house, the occasional out and about trip for study classes and work, Bluetooth connectivity to and from the mobile phone and similar power/functionality ratio for work and leisure as with a desktop such as burning DVDs/CDRs, watching films, playing a few games. HP Compaq Business Notebook Nx6125 ... are a pretty boring subject to write a review about. We all know what they do, so what makes this one special. Well first let me quickly run through the specs so that you know what we re dealing with here. It weighs in at just under 3kg which is not bad at all for a laptop/notebook. Mind you HP call it a notebook which I would disagree with. There are Sony VIAO s out there that are real notebooks. This baby however is bigger than what I could consider to be a notebook so I m going to refer to it as a laptop. HP Compaq Business Notebook Nx9010 ... never bought my NX9010 by choice - my ThinkPad got damaged and my home insurance replaced it with one of these. I ve had it a full year now so it has had a proper field test! The only problems I have had so far have been software related… Sometimes when I switched it on, the machine just would not load any further than the welcome to windows screen. I eventually learnt that this was a software conflict between Windows XP service pack 2 and Norton anti Virus 2004. After binning the anti virus software all has been well. So the laptop then….
