Advantages: Excellent price, reliable, slick, user friendly.

Disadvantages: Processing power should be better, poor tech support

I bought this laptop as a music producer primarily for its processing power, the noiseless fan, CD burning etc. I got it at a reduced price of £350 because it was a display model.

Since Ive had this laptop I haven't had any major problems, it runs quickly and efficiently, has a solid build quality, its light, and is a decent size.

I also enjoy the touchpad mouse buttons, which are soft and dont require a lot of pressure, or make a loud click.

The battery life is about 3 or 4 hours, which I think is fairly average.

One downside of the laptop is in the perceived benefits of the Intel Core 2 Duo. My PC is a pentium 4 and when using high CPU programmes for music production I had more luck with that.

The tech support I must say is pretty poor. Although this is something I have experienced across the board with PC tech support, two or more wrongs do not make a right. Quite often the tech support was incredibly low level, incorrect or misleading, and at times I was passed to other advisers for no apparent reason.

This aside the Laptop has achieved almost everything I wanted it to at a great price.

Summary: Not perfect, but in terms of bang for your buck, its up there.
