Experience of having business series, why?
lets have a look on some description.
Here is some my experience and suggestions about a popular product from hp.
HP is a old player in notebook market and best competitor for Apple Macbook.
Some time ago the most popular product from hp in business series was its 6710, and now again a upgraded version of that in market.
It is more complicated to survive in portable computer market with old configurations.
So that having strong ambition toward creating better well known brand in the field, hp again put its most effort to give a latest technology and configuration to its customers.
As I have described in my previous Dell laptops reviews that they have well known service to give a chance to its customers of selecting desired configurations.
It is most desirable and customer friendly solution to meet their requirements.
HP also has these kinds of customization service so that mostly we meet our solutions with as per norms.

Now I will share some of my experiences about the notebook, and its configuration.
First always refer the processor
Processor is considered as main priority on every laptop, or personal computers, because the mind of computing devices is a processor.
Hp also have good range of choices to select a better processor as higher level as well as budget level also.
Starting from higher level choice but not as much as Apple providing in its Macbook that is Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo Processor T8100 (2.1 GHz of clock speed , 800 MHz FSB( front side bus), and 3 MB L2 cache).
Here I have to mention that as my opinion T8100 processor is a best choice for laptop, not more costly as consider to 2.6Ghz that is much costly, but there is not a sense to pay so much for little bit more speed and L2 cache.

The other choice is Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo Processor T5470 (1.6 GHz of clock speed, 800 MHz FSB, and 2 MB L2 cache).
It is also a better choice to laptop as considering budget choice and mostly peoples choose it as priority level.
The last cheap option for processor as dual core family is Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo Processor T5270 (1.4 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache), it is not so bad having good process speed and better value for money as well.
There is Celeron series choice also available but there is no mean to having that because if you are considering to buy a business series laptop and wants to put Celeron, that is out dated processor in multi core era of processor.
But you can have a look on that as well.
Intel® Celeron® Processor 550 (2.0 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 1 MB L2 cache)
And another option of Celeron series is Intel® Celeron® Processor 540 (1.86 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 1 MB L2 cache).
Now the target of consideration is on operating system
The most common choice available is Windows Vista, and ofcourse this laptop is a business series and you will get Business version of Vista.
Available choice is in both 32 bit and 64 bit.
Genuine Windows Vista® Business 32bit and the another one is Genuine Windows Vista® Business 64 downgrade to Genuine Windows® XP Professional 64.

Now the time to explain Random Access Memory
There are two types of memory on which computer works, one is RAM and another is ROM.
RAM is a temporary support for data and works only when power is on, if we put off to power, than it will loss its data.
So as a live process we need RAM and it is more important factor with processor to provide better computing speed and accessibility.
Here is a broad choice available to select memory and that are lower level to higher level, 512 MB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, second one is 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, and available last option they are providing is 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.
But we can also upgrade it to 4 GB, in two DIMM slot (2GB in each slot).
For better performance in latest 3D applications, a better graphics card and higher memory are mandatory.
If you are planning to run software like Maya or 3ds max than choose 4 GB of RAM and good graphics card.

Another part that is in my top priority of consideration is Graphics card.
Here is hp failed compete with Dell and Apple in the field of graphics choice.
They are providing traditional graphics option Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, with up to 384 MB shared system memory; shared memory is taken by RAM.
The best graphics card has a dedicated memory, and if there is chances to more graphic memory that it will capture or share it from RAM.
As a graphics level it will provide good graphics option but not best.

Hard disk
It is also a considerable option but generally 200GB or more capacity hard drive is good for selection.
SSD drive is a latest available best trustable choice, but it is very costly and every one can't afford this.
But if you want to have a better trustable option than it will be right choice.
SSD not available in option category, u can purchase it as you level.
Optical drive is common to all available notebooks that are Light Scribe DVD+/-RW Super Multi with Double Layer.
There is no any point to explain this.

Battery and its run time
Almost every company providing 6 cell lithium-Ion battery as a primary level, and the back-up time is more or less 2 hours.
The business 6720 also has that traditional battery, and the back-up time is always up to 2 hors.
If you are considering for better back-up battery than it will be bad option to adopt 6 cell battery.

At last conclusion
As a 3D graphics designing and higher gaming experience, it will be bad choice, and if you are planning to full fill your general requirements than it is good.
I will never recommend it for thrilling gaming experience, and good graphics result.
If we consider some product of other manufacturer than hp business 7620 failed to compete with them.
Over all it is good with solid construction and good configuration level.
