I have been using this laptop for approximately 18 months. In terms of a general laptop it is dissapointing. I couldn't run even a half graphics rich game on the system.
However, considering that it isn't meant as an entertainment device, this frustration needs to be considered less than the actual processing.
For the price, I think the processing power of the laptop is really good. It is a robust piece of kit, I have dropped it on more than one occassion (admittedly not from a great height).
The resolution on the screen in general is very good. It displays web pages with good clarity and is more than acceptable for general business use, such as Word, Excel etc.
The navigation pad (mouse) is also prone to reacting to accidental double touches resulting in web pages opening unintentionally.
Two big negatives for me have to be the weight of the PC. Whilst I don't know the official weight that is listed by the manufacturer, I do know that travelling around London on the tube with it in a big, does cause a strain on the shoulders and back.
In addition, the screen is prone to glare. By glare I mean visibility is hampered if there is either bright light or sun glare towards the screen.
Overall though, given the price, I think it is an acceptable purchase. Are there better products on the market? I would suggest that there probably are.
