Advantages: Very good system, a neat and modern design, and it support Linux very well

The HP 8510w is a very good laptop, I 'm own it now 3 months and it is very fast. Especially the 7200 RPM hard drive. I used to have a B-brand mark at the beginning of my studies, and since then I am already 3 years back to work, so it is logical that I needed a new laptop.
I am planning to buy a docking station, and this will mean that my desktop machine can look out for another job. I use it primarily as a development machine since I am a programmer.
The display is simply perfect; this is partly made by the high resolution (1920x1200) from the nVidia video card. I also connected a second monitor to it (1680x1050), and I have the feeling that is becoming a bit heavy, but I assume that there is a configuration problem on my Linux machine.
The Linux driver support is perfect, it is 100% supported by open source drivers, and I chose to replace the nVidia drivers by the closed drivers. Everything work, even my Bluetooth and my HP printer.

This laptop delivers a great sound, and is therefore perfect to listen to the radio in your office.
The design is nice and modern, it has a control WLan on / off, you can mute and other the functions go through touch buttons.

Summary: This is a very good laptop! It can be used by students or even gamers!
