Its encased in a steel shell, with the colour of aluminium. Its got a kind of nice rounded curve shaped sides and the screen is detached from the body apart from the hinges in the middle, this gives it a kind of futuristic look which I like about it. I have found that although there are some genuinely good things about the unit, there are some really annoying and frustratinig features. First the good things; Battery Life is excellent, much better than previous units I have used, particularly the Dell latitude. Weight - as I move around a lot the light feel of the 6930p is a pleasant change. Wireless card - I have found that the wireless card is extremely dependable and stable, which again makes a pleasant change from other units. And now the not so good things; HP installed software - i find this intrusive, annoying and detrimental to my use ...
