Fast, realible and light-weight - a good all round notebook.

I used this laptop for about 12 months at work up until a recent hardware refresh took place and we were all given new laptops. I hadn't used a HP laptop before and was left extremely impressed with the performance of the laptop. I been working in the the IT industry as a support technician for the past 5 years and it's one of the most realible laptop/PC's I have used or supported.

The latop is quick to start up and can handle me running various applications. I have found in the past with a lot of laptops that the quick start up speeds when you first take it out of the box quickly dimishes, but not with this laptop. I have also found that the battery life to be good, once fully charged it can last for up to 4 hours unplugged.

Some more information regarding the laptop's vital statistics - it has a 13.3 inch LED screen, 3 GB or RAM and a 250GB hard disk drive. The laptop also have a wireless network card fitted as well as a graphics card. The laptop was running Windows 7 Operating System and is fitted with a Intel i3 processor CPU.

The laptop is compact and light weight, a little over 2kg, ideal for anyone who travels a lot with their laptop. The screen quality is good and I have linked it up to my TV using the HDMI port supplied. It also has adaquate USB connections for attaching external keyboards, mouse, hard drives for example.

Buy one if you want a fast laptop not if you want a tablet..

I have had this laptop for six months. I would say i am a heavy computer user, mainly for browsing the internet but also storage of music, iTunes etc.
On shopping for a laptop price was a deciding factor.
I bought an entry level branded one from tesco but returned in after 3 days.
This laptop was cost significantly more than i wanted to spend but after trying it instore i new i had to have it.
It is everything the entry level one wasn't.
Its keyboard feals quality, the keys are slky smooth and quiet when operated.
The screen is ultra bright and great for movies unless you use the HDMI port to connect it to your HD TV.
The battery life has been better than i expected although it has on occasion got a little warm making the fan work overtime.
The touchscreen is a great additional feature but i find i don't use it to much unless i am sharing the computer with somebody to look on the internet. That said the HP touchscreen software is easy to use when watching movies, looking at pictures or playing music.
The windows 7 paired with the fast processor make this laptop slick and fast.
In short buy one.... Don't buy it if you want a touchscreen tablet - the touchscreen is just a bonus - Buy one if you want a small slick laptop capable of anything you throw at it !
