A solid but dull laptop (HP Pavilion dv5052EA)
Member Name: Kebabish1
Advantages: reliable and relatively easy to use Disadvantages: low specifications This solid middle of the road laptop provides users with a safe if slow computing experience. This is clearly not a powerhouse computer. Neither the technology, nor the specifications are ground breaking but that's would you would expect for the money. The 1GB RAM struggles to keep up sometimes but the undemanding Windows XP does not tax it too often unless you like to have dozens of windows open whilst running a full virus scan. In layman's terms this laptop does the job but if you expect it to run your PC games to a high standard you will be disappointed. The screen gathers dust and needs a regular wipedown and the casing is similar. The keyboard is well laid out and easy to use. I would have preferred to see more USB points but that is a minor quibble. Don't overload it with lots of unused programs and keep it clutter free and it will serve you faithfully for a long time. Summary: just one of the crowd
