DV2045 is an accetpable Laptop for everyday use, it is capable to handle almost evey kind of entertainment needs. And it is cheap for its price. That is why I choose this laptop as the portable center of my home recreation. It was Feb this year, and my wife and I moved into a new apartment. This laptop offers really good value for money and is a great office workhorse. The Turion processor is roughly equivalent to a similarly clocked Pentium M and gives enough performance for the cast majority of people. Adding an extra GB of RAM will speed it up enormously however, especially if you use several applications at once. The fingerprint reader works flawlessly and the only connectivity missing is an infrared port. It has USB2.0, firewire, pcmcia, bluetooth, wifi, 1000Mbit ethernet and a 5in1 caard reader.
