I've got this laptop for about two years. Overall it is a good laptop but has some very weak points.
1. After one year the system board crashed. After another year and one month it crashed again. The same problem. It seems to be the graphic card. At high load of graphic card the temperature is increasing at critical level and after short period of time you will see that system is slowing down, the boot is slow and OS is freezing. This is the sign that the laptop will die soon. I called HP Support and they can fix it for £310!!!! I bought the laptop for 469 from HP online store !!!
2. The battery is weak. In less than one year you will see that the capacity it's nearly half.
If you already bought it and it's still in warranty, buy an extended warranty otherwise you will pay a lot to fix it.
3. It's getting hot quickly when you play games our watching videos. I think they are two causes. First is a cheap thermal compound used by HP. If you can replace it with a good one. I did myself and the result is amasing. Even after 24 hours of continuous work the laptop doesn't even getting warm! And the second and very important: clean the vents as often as possible! After a short period of time the dust is covering the fan vents and the hot air can't flow. Use pressured air and a vacuum cleaner if you don't want to open the cover.
