Great value laptop, good for more or less anyone!

This laptop cost me £630 when bought brand new last September, and I have found it to be a brilliant laptop that easily copes my abuse! I have roughly 60gb of music, videos and photos saved onto the 160gb hard drive and it shows no sign of slowing down at all yet. The built in webcam is really handy for use on msn messenger etc and copes really well when I want to use it to take photos or make short movies and play with editing them on Windows Movie Maker, which comes pre-installed on the laptop! The laptop has a handy touch bar running along the top of the keyboard which controls the volume (super convenient!) and also runs the 'quickplay' which is where the main media elements of the laptop are controlled, e.g. watching dvds or TV. It also came with an additional TV card in the box so that if I wanted, I could hook it up to an aerial and watch standard television on my laptop. All in all this laptop has all that most people would ever need, with excellent sound quality (Altec Lansing speakers!) and enough memory to run more than one programme at once. It copes well with high memory programmes such as itunes and has capable graphics to run most computer games. It is also quite robust and doesn't scratch easily, and for the shallow ones amongst us (myself included ;D) it has a funky pattern etched into the lid, rather than just being plain and a bit boring! The screen at 14 inches is small enough to make it a little more portable than your standard laptop, but big enough to view movies on with no problem, and battery life is a good standard 2 hours or so! Overall - excellent laptop, well worth the money I paid and holding up strong nearly 1 year later!
