Features I use
There are media player buttons on the outside of the lid (play, skip forward / backward, stop),and these are very useful for listening to music with the lid closed, although it would be better volume controll buttons were there as well. I have now had the tx1000 laptop for 3 years, which is the UK version of the hptx1410us (has a slightly different keyboard layout and region 2 DVD player). I have been using my HP Pavilion for college and university work, as well as entertainment for many hours every day. Good points There are many other places to read the spec, I originally choose this laptop because it was powerful and quick for its size and I managed to get a good deal. I found the 12.1 inch screen to be a very useful size, and the laptop is small and light enough to carry around in an ordinary rucksack.
