I used this Laptop for about 12 months at work up until a recent hardware refresh took place and we were all given new laptops. I hadn t used a HP laptop before and was left extremely impressed with the performance of the laptop. I been working in the the IT industry as a support technician for the past 5 years and it s one of the most realible laptop/PC s I have used or supported. The latop is quick to start up and can handle me running various applications. It was just under a month ago my grandad bought me this laptop. my old Laptop had been playing up and it was time for a new one. and can i say, what a huge difference! this laptop is brilliant. 6 hours battery life, so you can browse internet for a while before having to connect to the mains. the sound on it, is loud and clear and is near the power button, so it wont get blocked if its leaning against your arm whilst typeing, i had this problem with my old laptop. the laptop has a 0.3 webcam and is quite clear! not only that but it has a webcam program you can take pictures and videos with. you can distort yours and friends faces, add frames and change effects. above the ...

I bought this Laptop primarily for University work and for keeping in touch with my family. The inbuilt webcam really came in handy as all I had to do was click on the webcam chat button and it came on, no fiddling about with wires or trying to get it in the optimum position. It has retained its speed (despite being over 2 years old and being used excessively!) and is very easy to use. I have been able to open multiple programmes (Word, iTunes, IE8, MSN) at once with the speed only diminishing slightly. The storage capacity is also excellent along and the retreival of documents is easy and speedy. The entertainment bar at the top of the keyboard is brilliant as is ...
