IN Comparison I can say that the IBM is lightyears ahead of most of the other notebook companies. The IBM 600x is one of the slimmer laptops and is suitable for frequent travellers who want to use their machine in the huddled up seat of a plane, or while in a train or car. I own an IBM Thinkpad 600 - and I think it is brilliant and am very pleased with it. If you need a one line summary: Go buy one! I am writting this with the intention that someone may buy it second hand (since I don't think IBM sells this model anymore) LCD - Brilliant - no problems. Remember if you have to replace the LCD it is very costly! So check before you buy. Apparently it is easy to swap them with another one! Keyboard - Okay It can be connected with an external keyboard. About a week ago now I bought an IBM Thinkpad 600 Laptop computer. It is second hand, but only just over a year old. It cost £500 incl VAT and this is what I got for my money?
