weight of 2.7kg it is light and small. This makes it excellent for travelling with. You hardly notice it in your backpack. It has an Intel Celeron 2 Ghz which isn't too brilliant nowadays but satisfies all my needs of using broadband internet and writing essays and presentations. It has 256 mb of RAM also which again is not brillian but satisfies my needs. I can play certain modern games with excellent graphics as well which is a bonus to say the least. In terms of storage space the hard drive is 30Gb which is plenty, my desktop contains 10 Gb and this is pretty full. Should take me a while to fill up 30Gb. The optical device is a CD-rewriter / DVD ROM. This ...

to work best is to dangle it by its network lead whilst slapping it gently and chanting 'not today please, i need a break'. Seriously though, this Laptop is about as reliable and well built as Virgin trains. It takes on average 2 attempts to boot (even after repair) and the slightest bit of non standard software e.g. an MP3 player, causes it to hang. Robust it is not. My model is fairly old and came with a Celeron processor, 92MB RAM and a 6GB HD. A reasonable spec for the time and one which should be able to handle a couple of open applications. My advice however is not to do this unless you are just messing about on the web. The keyboard is tiny ...

drive and a disk drive in it which is detachable. At first I also thought I could plug all my cables into it therefore I could just detach my Laptop and go very easily without removing, external mouse, keyboard, palm pilot hot sync cable, external disk drvies etc. but no only the power cable can be plugged into the docking station and left connected. Hence I don't really see the point of having it. The docking station makes the whole thing rather heavy which means when travelling I still take my external disk drive and leave the docking station behind. Also if the laptop is turned on when you attach it to the docking station, mine always recongises it as new ...
