IBM Thinkpad T43p 2668

Premium Review Brilliant family laptop - built to last (272 words)

Rating:

alot of abuse. It has a good list of features and provided software; my favourite is the finger-print recognition which works remarkably well. It still holds it s own with performance after 3 years (it cost £600 new), my only issue with reliability (and losing it a star) is the DVD drive which now only reads CD s. I have been told this can be a common fault with this line. While many of my friends laptops have died, my trusty IBM lives ...

IBM Thinkpad T42 2373

Premium Review Thinkpad rocks (215 words)

the first catch. Soon I realized the color is attractive and I enjoy it greatly. It is not easy to look dirty and it is always strong! My Laptop never has any problem even though I always takes it when I fly! So it is very reliable and works good for business. Besides, it has an independent graphic card therefore the image and video quality is quite satisfactory. The weight 2.4 kg is not very heavy and the LCD monitor does not reflect lights. The size of memory is good enough for normal use. It has an independent graphic card so it is also good to play many games. The only con is the relatively short battery time. Currently it can support less 1 hour only . Can ...

I created an account on this web site mostly to complain about something else, and I wanted the karma to balance out, so here is a review of what I think is one of the best laptops ever. For background you should know that I can have my pick of laptops and would often update to the latest model every year. Well, for the last three+ years I've stuck with my X31 and I'll continue for as long as it lasts. Note this is about the X31 in general, not specifically the 2673. If you're going to buy one, it'll be second-hand so go for the highest spec possible. Why? well, because it does everything I want, including: * Being a small, light net-book long ...
