A Good travelling sub Notebook with its titanium alloy, and screen-saving lid surface its quite safe to carry around in those long journeys. Packed in a Traditional IBM Design this small laptop comes with a higher price tag and if you start buying all the floppy and optical drives , docking station. The Price is going to reach the sky.

The only time this product or any IBM product becomes worthy of its price tag is when it comes to support my personal experience with IBM support department was a pleasent change from the other competitors. Good Fast Support and Last but not least IBM Thinkpads normally comes with a Three Years International Carry-in Warranty.

If you got the few more extra pounds in your pocket this products fits perfectly with your travelling plan.

Laptop Comes bundled with quite a few useful software?s Like Rapid Restore / Access Connection / Update Connector. Details are below

Rapid Restore, Great software to backup. It takes the image of the Hard drive and stores it onto a hidden IBM Service Partition on the same hard drive. The Best Part is that if you want to restore it all you have to do is to press the blue IBM Access Button when your server boots up and restore the last backup without even needing to boot into windows. In Reality IT Works like magic the only drawback is it take too much space on the Hard Drive for storing the image.

2. IBM Update Connector. IBM continues to provide the best support solution in the market. ThinkPad comes with a software package called IBM Update connector. You can use it to download latest drivers including bios without the need of searching and finding it on the web. The software automatically finds Drivers related to your system.

3. IBM Access Connections.
Useful Software Specially if you move around different network. You can create different network profiles and change your network setting including default printer and Internet Explorer setting
with a click of a mouse.
