The Pentium M 1.8 may not be the fastest but combined with the other components it is more than quick for those business applications. 512MB of RAM come as standard, any less than this and you are wasting your time. safeboot software installed for connecting to my office intranet. I always fancied thinkpad as it is the mother of all laptop in all aspects. The one I am using is Pentium M 1.6 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 40 GB HDD and running Windows XP on it. The only thing I don t like in ThinkPad is that red trackball device, which I always found tricky to deal with. This T41 has that trackball as well as touch pad, so I am not complaining about it.
