Having learned that Lenovo has taken over IBMs computer business i was skeptical whether IBMs legendary quality would be continued in the new line of laptops I am happy to confirm that this is the case. The build quality is superb with rubberized plastic the order of the day, input is handled by both a track-pad and and trackpoint allowing you to move the mouse without taking your hand off the keyboard. The screen while not hugely bright is good quality and readable under most lights.
