	Asus Eee PC 4G ... ve got one of these that is the Linux version, but I wasn t impressed at all, but it s great because it s small. Asus have really pushed the boat out to try and make the operating system really fast, yet look like Windows XP but you can t add you re own software easily and they don t seem to add updates very often at all. Although if all you do is basic computer activities, then this is great for you as it s small and mighty. Some users have installed custom systems using usb keys and flash cards but this is a very advanced topic but also people are creating software to work fine on the Eeepc because of the small screen size. 	HP Compaq Business Notebook Nc4000 ... laptop - now replaced by my Macbook - was purchased mainly to cover my requirement for mobile computing between selling my old laptop and getting my Macbook. As far as specifications go, by todays standard it is outdated, however, only occasionally noticeable. The pentium 4 processor is now outdated, however, it is more than enough for browsing the web and using basic productivity applications. Don t purchase one expecting a powerhouse as all you will get is a very basic computer for little cash. The laptop is as upgradable as any other - i.e. memory and hard drive, thats it. 	HP Compaq Business Notebook Nc4010 ... I am typing this review on my NC4010 so it definitely has the basics features you need when it comes to internet surfing and basic office tasks. Firstly, I should probably point out that it isn t the newest, star-spangled model available. I bought mine second hand from a well known auction site for about £120. I desperately needed something cheap and reliable for accessing the internet and doing basic tasks with office. The laptop arrived with Windows XP and Microsoft Office preloaded.
