The screen is just about right and would not recommend going any lower as your eyes might start to shrink. This little baby is a beauty and is really just what I needed to carry around with me at work and at home. It comes installed with Microsoft Vista Home Premium which I think is far better than Windows Vista Home Basic. It has a decent size hard disk 120 GB (Gigabytes) which can store all your large programs like Microsoft Office and Anti Virus Software. It comes with dual layer DVD writer which is great for backing up lots of your data - I know I use it a lot to back up music, documents and other large items.
