This little baby is a beauty and is really just what I needed to carry around with me at work and at home. It comes installed with Microsoft Vista Home Premium which I think is far better than Windows Vista Home Basic.
It has a decent size hard disk 120 GB (Gigabytes) which can store all your large programs like Microsoft Office and Anti Virus Software. It comes with dual layer DVD writer which is great for backing up lots of your data - I know I use it a lot to back up music, documents and other large items.
It has built in wireless which lets me connect anywhere in the house as long as I have a wireless router sending my internet connection outwards. The screen is just about right and would not recommend going any lower as your eyes might start to shrink.
The memory is 1GB (Gigabytes) which is pretty ok for today's computer standards although I would recommend 2 GB. This has a built in webcam and I tend to use this to go through MSN messenger or any other instant messaging products which allow the use of webcams.
My own personal tip: When it comes to deciding whether to have more processor speed or more memory I would choose more memory due to the fact that programs will operate quicker will more memory where as more processor speed does not always ensure that programs run quicker.
Overall this laptop has good all-round specifications and will meet all you needs for work and home use. If you are looking to play modern games then you would need to upgrade your memory slightly to ensure you get the best gaming experience.
From my own experience the battery for this laptop can be a bit annoying sometimes and can affect the laptop and can sometimes make the laptop crash while it charges at the same time.
Overall it is a decent laptop.
